Brown Rice SaladGlad® Cling Wrap
You will love brown rice the moment you get to taste this salad. Brown rice doesn’t have to be boring. This salad will make you eat your veggies. Plus will love the different textures of the ingredients in every spoonful.
- 3 cups brown rice cooked
- 6 spring onions sliced
- 1 red bell pepper finely diced
- ½ cup raisins
- ½ cup nuts (peanuts or cashew nuts)
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tbsps balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- salt and pepper to taste
Gently mix the brown rice, spring onions, bell pepper, raisins, nuts in a big bowl.
In a separate bowl. Mix the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt and pepper to make the dressing.
Mix the dressing with the rice mixture before serving.
Use Glad® Cling Wrap and keep in the chiller to keep the rice mixture fresh.
